Dos & Don’ts

Dos

  • Come to class hydrated
  • If you need to rest during class, kneel down on your towel and drink some water. Please refrain from lying down, you will cool off more quickly kneeling and the teacher will see that you are okay.
  • If you have any medical conditions/injuries, please advise the teacher in advance of class.
  • While practicing yoga, one should concentrate on yoga alone and try to keep away the other thoughts.

Don'ts

  • Don’t eat too much before you practice. You should eat 1-2 hours before class.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
  • Go at your own pace
  • No electronic interference please! Mobiles must be switched off or on silent.
  • Don’t touch (shower) or drink water for 30 minutes after doing yoga.
  • Don’t do strenuous exercises after yoga.
  • Don’t do yoga in the first trimester of pregnancy (or get advices from instructor before class)
